Company Law Amendments - consultation response May 2012
In 2010 the Commerce and Employment Department released a consultation paper identifying a number of proposed amendments to the Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008.
Detailed responses were received from 24 individuals, local companies, law firms, industry associations and the GFSC. These responses have been carefully reviewed and analysed and have resulted in a consultation response document which has been released today, 30 May 2012.
The Department is currently preparing a States report outlining the proposed amendments to the Law which will be submitted to the States as soon as possible.
