Mark Whiteley and the Registry team are delighted to announce that the new Guernsey Registry went live on 1 July 2008.
Guernsey Registry was set up following a review of the Companies (Guernsey) Law and the existing company processes. This has meant a change from a judicial process (carried out by the Greffe using procedures fundamentally unchanged since 1883) to an administrative process (carried out through the new Registry with the statutory appointment of the Guernsey Registrar of Companies).
The Registry also includes the Bailiwick of Guernsey Intellectual Property Office which opened on 1 June 2006 to administer all Trade Mark and Design registrations and activities and to provide information on the Intellectual Property Laws enacted in the Bailiwick.
We, and this website, are here to help and provide guidance to a new era for Companies in Guernsey. Full details of the team can be found here.
