Consultation on Proposed Amendments to the Companies (Guernsey) Law 2008

The consultation paper (available to download on the right hand side of this screen) on proposed amendments to the Companies (Guernsey) Law 2008 was released by the Commerce and Employment Department on 1 April 2010. 

The Department has reviewed the Law with a view to making necessary and appropriate amendments to address practical issues, to take account of developments in company law elsewhere and to ensure that Guernsey remains a highly regarded and competitive jurisdiction.

Comments in response to the consultation are sought from all interested parties by 31 May 2010. 

Responses should be sent, preferably by e-mail, to finance@commerce.gov.gg or alternatively by hard copy to Director of Finance Sector Development, Commerce and Employment Department, Raymond Falla House, PO Box 459, Longue Rue, St Martins, Guernsey, GY1 6AF.
